Session Description

The consequences of brain and spinal cord injury are devastating to both the injured individual and family and friends. This session will provide personal viewpoints on living with an injury and perspectives on their view regarding scientific progress.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this session, attendees will be able to:

1. Understand what an individual experiences after a CNS injury.
2. Appreciate the patient perspective on the scientific progress in the field.
3. Understand a treating physicians’ perspective on treating CNS injury.
