DESCRIPTION
The Chinese Neurotrauma Scholar Association (CNSA) was first organized in 2010 by Drs. Xiao-ming Xu and Jinhui Chen (Indiana University), Kevin Wang, Dr. Zhifeng Kou (Wayne State University), Riyi Shi (Purdue University) and Dong Sun (Virginia Commonwealth University). The idea for the provide a forum for like-minded Chinese and other neurotrauma scholars to interact and to network. We also organized the first CNSA symposium on 6-15-2010 CNSA Symp. Program (Las Vegas). We have held annual symposium as a satellite to the National Neurotrauma Society Symposium ever since. The primary mission of CNSA is to promote communication, research, development, collaboration, support, and the availability of information on neurotrauma and other related topics among Chinese scholars internationally. The secondary mission of CNS is to encourage interactions between neurotrauma scholars in the US and those in mainland China. Another goal of CNSA is provide junior members opportunities of networking and mentorship. We invite neurotrauma researchers of all ethnicity or country of origin to join CNSA and/or to participate in its annual symposium. This years’ CNSA symposium will mark the a 10th year of this event.
